Wacky Wednesday

Today was a bit of a wacky Wednesday. First, for the past few weeks, I have been waking up about 30 minutes before my alarm goes off. It’s really weird. Basically, I wake up, think I’ve overslept, look at the clock, see it says 8:30, realize I don’t have to be up until 9, and fall back asleep. The odd part is that when I wake up 30 minutes before the alarm, I’m wide awake. When I wake up when the alarm goes off, I’m dead tired. What a wacky thing!

This morning I had a test in my games class, which went really well, I think. I enjoy Dr. Slattery, because he teaches so well, I never feel like I have to study for the test, even though I do. So, the test was nice, and then it was off to Philosophy, where we talked about how people see stuff, but don’t really see stuff. Then, after lunch, I got to watch a touching film on Mother Teresa, and in our film class today, Lori and I watched “Sunrise.” It was a pretty well made silent film, but I’m getting sick of all music and no talking, so I was glad that this is the last silent film we are watching this semester.

The only problem is that I now have about two papers and a large programming assignment that I need to get done. But, the game will be neat. My friend Carol and I are teaming up together to work on the assignment. It is a variation of the frogger game, but with a fish named Fred. We had a good time coming up with the design document, so I think we’ll have fun designing the game as well. I get to hunt for graphics tomorrow.

So, that’s about it for today, other than that, it was a random errand day, but all will be better tonight, because I made lemon pie, and I hope to get a piece after mass tonight. Yum!
