Today was a down-home fun time. This morning around 10:00 I, along with a whole bunch of friends, got up and went apple picking. It was a great deal. Lori and I picked about 15 pounds of apples and they only cost us $5. This means that it’s definitely time to bake some apple pie. Now, if I only had an apple peeler/corer/slicer, then I would be set.
After apple picking we went to a restaraunt that served crepes. They were really good - an ice cream crepe is definitely something that you don’t pass up. Mine had mint chocolate chip ice cream in it, with chocolate icing drizzled on the top and just enough whipped cream to make a dangerous blend. So, that’s about all that went on today. I got a free dinner in Cobeen tonight, as Rachelle was kind enough to swipe me for the choir dinner. I’m happy to meet all of the new people that are getting invovled in singing, particularly all the guys. I think that’s great the amount of people getting involved, because my Freshman year, there weren’t too many people that did get invovled within music ministry, and it was somewhat slim pickin’. So, that’s a good thing.
I think that’s about all for now. I hope that everyone had a great weekend. Next weekend is parent’s weekend, so I’m excited to see everyone. On top of that, it will be Brian’s birthday, so there may be a little party involved for that one!
