I took this weekend to fly up to Milwaukee and spend some time with Lori at Marquette. The weather has been wonderful up here and it’s been nice to get away for a little bit. Friday evening, we saw Marquette’s production of Snoopy, the musical. It was really neat and I have always been a big fan of Charles Schultz. All the performers did great job, and if anyone at Marquette is reading this, you should definitely go and see the show!Saturday evening, the girls had a party in the Catholic house. And, while the rest of the world watched the Miss America beauty pagent, Jon, Greg and I played cards. It was wonderful. Eventually, we got a whole bunch of people playing Harry Potter Uno and whenever someone laid down the Howler card, we laughed and cried while the next person yelled out all their cards at the top of their lungs. It was fun to see the entire house get quiet and look at us all. Then, after Uno, we played what can possibly be called the longest game of Phase 10, which lasted a good three hours. It was a great game, but very frustrating at the same time.
