My life, 2.0

It has come to my attention that I haven’t updated this site in quite a while. I guess that some people actually do visit this site. Go figure. Sorry that I haven’t had too much time, but my life has been quite busy with work and other commitments. And, as if I didn’t have enough to do, I have decided to take up learning a third instrument - the violin. So, I am going to learn how to play “way up there on the tiny strings where you mash your fingers.”

So, let’s get to doing a wrap up from the weekend…The past week was not too bad. I spent most of my life in training sessions for my company, learning about diversity, calzones and what qwerty really means. Then, from Thursday until Saturday around midnight, Lori, Stephanie, Brian, Jon and Megan came down from Marquette and spent the weekend in Kansas City. I think that it was a great weekend, although on Thursday and Friday I was working most of the time. However, we did get to go out and expose them to some real barbeque as well as visit downtown and go through the Hallmark Visitor’s Center. In addition, we went through a haunted house and played board games and did stuff with Patrick and his friends.

This week, I have been putting the work machine into full gear, since the end of October is the cutoff date for our code. I will be spending most of tomorrow, literally, in the office. I will be working until around midnight, so I plan on bringing lots of music, my headphones and a system to play the music. Hopefully this will alleviate much of the work to do next week, so I can have an easy end of October before the full testing cycle. It’s going to be interesting and, if I think about it, I will update the site. So, if you would like me to update this more, please pester me with emails. Perhaps that will entice me more. Or, money is always another good motivator. Either way, it will help me to remember to update!
