Worst cars of all time
For those of you who are looking for a little Monday humor, as I was, check out this article on Forbes’ website. It highlights the all time worst cars. The slideshow is especially hilarious.
Penguin Violence
For those looking for a good batting game, check this out. Just click to drop the penguin and click again to swing. Amazingly addictive and also a good joke for my family, since we have a bit of a penugin fetish.
Busy Week
Well, it’s been quite a busy week at work. I have been going to meetings, doing some programming, troubleshooting and other things. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. I’m looking forward to a nice weekend and, in particular, watching the Marquette game at 2:00 this Saturday. Even though the team hasn’t been doing very well, I’m still hopeful that we can beat Louisville. Here’s to hoping… In other news, I am planning on getting the humor links back up and running in a timely fashion. This means that they will be posted as of midnight, instead of during the afternoon, like I have been doing for the past few weeks. Sorry about that! Other than all this stuff, there’s really not too much to report. Perhaps this weekend will yield a good story to post on Monday. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Howard ”The Duck” Dean
That’s right. If you are not familiar with the scream heard around the world, check out one of these two links: http://homepage.mac.com/lileks/.Public/Yeagh.mp3 and http://homepage.mac.com/jonathanbarlow/.Public/howarddean.mp3. Enjoy!
Bad fortune cookie
I got a horrible fortune cookie today. Not to say that it wasn’t tasty and enjoyable to eat, it’s just that the fortune was not very good. This is what it said: “Your fastidious nature has much more fun this year!” In order to decipher it, click on the word fastidious to see a definition. That’s right meticulous and difficult to please. So, how is that part of my nature supposed to have ‘much more fun?’ I guess I’m not the only victim of a horrible fortune cookie. I agree that we should let Homer Simpson write our fortune cookies. I would like to go on a short sea voyage…
