A relaxing weekend

I had a very relaxing weekend, due to a nice trip to Milwaukee. I managed to get a number of things done up there, such as getting sided up for a tux for a wedding, seeing Late Night Catechism and having fun playing trivial pursuit. All in all, it was a very fun weekend and I enjoyed seeing many friends.

While I was up there, I picked up to new Marquette t-shirts, because I don’t have enough in my wardrobe. I was dissapointed, however, when I asked about their button down twill shirt, only to find that it was a seasonal item, and that the Golden Eagle wouldn’t be carrying it right now. I was really looking forward to getting a nice shirt to wear to the office. It’s not like I am lacking in the spirit department - there’s one wall of my cube devoted soley to Marquette paraphernalia. But, it never hurts to have a few more items that signify the university that you attended.

In other news, I am now directing a youth choir in Kansas City. I’m excited about that, and our first official practice is tonight. I’ve been with the choir for a while now, but I am finally getting an opportunity to help out by directing the whole thing. I am excited, too, because someone actually called up this weekend, volunteering to come and play guitar with me. That’s a good sign - as I could use another guitar player. More about this will come later. For now, have a great week!
