Can fu?

Do you remember that ping pong matrix stuff I posted a while ago? Well, it looks like a similar idea was put together in this Pepsi video. And, if you thought that was cool, check out this video on how they made it!

Connect the dots

Today’s humor link is a great game where you have to connect the different bricks that are lit up. It’s pretty intuitive and I think I made it to level 10 pretty easily. After that, it started to get a bit harder. Enjoy!

Why iPods are so cool

Some people have recently labelled me as a Mac lover. To tell the truth, I’m more of an iPod lover, but that tiny little device is quickly turning me into a Mac lover.

I’ve been a proud iPod owner for about three and a half months and the most amazing thing is that the iPod, while being a convenient device always reminds me of how awesome it is. One of the great features is the ability to play audiobooks from Audible. I’ve been enjoying listening to a myriad of books as well as getting the Wall Street Journal audio digest every morning for my drive into work.Aside from the cool audiobook feature, I have decided that the smart playlist feature is perhaps the coolest feature, aside from containing my entire CD library. Smart playlists allow me to customize my music listening in ways that I never thought possible. My favorite way to listen is a playlist that I have called “Unplayed.” That playlist contains all of the songs that I have not yet listened to on my iPod. Every time I listen to a song, it is automatically removed from the playlist. So, through the smart playlists, I can make sure that I have actually listened to everything on my iPod.

To tell the truth, I really am an Apple lover. I have always been fascinated by the way that the company comes out with products, their packaging and their innovative designs. To me, the iPod is a personification of all three.

Lori and Steph have come and gone

Lori and Steph came to Kansas City this weekend and left this morning at 6:15 for Washington DC to go see Jon and Megan. Lori and I had a good time while she was here. We went to Dee Anna and Mike’s wedding (she is now Dee Anna Guerra! Congratulations!) and we spent some time together going to see a movie and hanging out. All in all, it was a very relaxing weekend. I also had Friday off, which out of pure luck, landed on the day that Lori and Steph got into Kansas City.

This afternoon, Greg leaves KC for Milwaukee. He also came down for Dee Anna and Mike’s wedding. Because he was an usher at the mass, Greg had to wear a tux. Check back soon for pictures of Greg!Today, it’s off to Ascension this afternoon to put together the young adult mass, then I will be going to sleep somewhat early, as we all had to get up at 3:30 am to take Steph and Lori to the airport. I hope that everyone had a great weekend!

By the way, I haven’t posted this here before, but here’s an awesome video that makes Greg and I laugh every time that we hear “I will survive” at a wedding. Enjoy!

American Dad and Breakout

Sorry about getting the humor links up a bit late today. I have the day off and decided to sleep in. This week, enjoy a really good version of Breakout. I tried playing it with a trackpad, and was having some difficulty, so I would recommend using a mouse. From what it looks like, the ball speeds up pretty quickly when you hit the bricks.

Secondly, for those who were fans of Family Guy, I was surfing around this morning and came upon a new show from Seth MacFarlane called American Dad. If you liked the quick one-liner humor that Family Guy had, then you will definitely appreciate American Dad. The pilot is currently posted on the website, and is available for downloading. Enjoy!
