New Printer

So, after some FedEx troubles yesterday, I convinced the delivery person to leave the printer for me until I got back from work. So, I now have a new Epson sitting in the living room. I was able to connect it up to my Airport Express and get wireless printing running pretty darn quickly. I’m now enjoying being able to print wirelessly from my laptop when I am in the living room, watching TV.

Dan gave me some trouble, because he thinks I am lazy, but I figure that if I have the technology, I’m going to use it. No use in paying for an item if you’re not going to use all of the features. I have to say that Apple was really thinking when they put together the Airport Express, because I can now listen to my tunes on the stereo in the living room and don’t have to leave the room to get my printouts, as they are all in the same location.

My only complaint is that the Airport Express can’t bridge non-airport networks or act as a repeater for non-airport networks. Basically this means, that there are a few features that I can’t use because I have a Linksys router and not an airport base station as my router. But, everything works, so I’m not complaining.

Now, if my new iMac would get here!
