Finding Skippy

Today was a good day. I was able to teach my class this evening, and I had around 13 people show up! I’m really excited about the turnout and I know that there are another three people who were planning on coming tonight but weren’t able to make it. I’m really enjoying my job and am having fun teaching people things about the Catholic faith.

In other news, Patrick came over this evening and we started filming a new short called “Finding Skippy.” It’s based upon a joke that was told during the TEC weekend, and I’m hoping to have it finished by this Sunday for the reunion meeting. Here’s to hoping. I don’t anticipate having too many problems getting it done, since I’m taking off Thursday through Sunday of this week. Anyway, we finished the first minute and a half of editing tonight and it’s looking pretty good. We are planning on doing it as a horror/CSI flick. I have never done the CSI theme before, so I’m looking forward to putting my film editing program through the loops for that one.

The book we are studying for my class is called The Privilege of Being Catholic. One of the questions at the end of the first chapter is “Have you ever thought of being Catholic as a ‘privilege’?” Take some time today and post your thoughts.
