Well, the auction was a huge success. I’m not sure exactly how much money it raised, but let’s hope it was a lot. We are really in need of our new activities building, and hopefully a large chunk of the money will go to that particular fund.

My video item only fetched a $300 price tag. I think that was partly due to the fact that it was number 40 in the live auction list and due to the fact that the auctioneer cut off the bidding on my video quite quickly. I had a number of parents tell me that they were going to bid on my services but they heard the word “Sold” much quicker than they expected.

The most expensive item at the live auction went for $5,100, which was a dinner that father will give for eight people. This was expected as the dinner went for a similar price last year.

Today, I am hanging with my mom and grandmom this morning. We are heading out to Nebraska Furniture Mart to get a new dining table set for my house. This evening, it’s off to work, with my catechesis class and then Theology of the Body class tonight. I’m really excited for the TOB class. Tonight is the first class and it’s going to be fun!
