Time Passed

Gosh! I can’t believe that it’s been 10 days since I’ve posted. So much for trying to keep a regular schedule. Each time I thought about posting over the last few days I figured that I was too tired and that I would do it later. Nothing like a healthy dose of procrastination.

Today was the last day of school and after this morning’s mass, I spent most of the time signing yearbooks. I also bought my own copy of the yearbook and after having all the kids sign it, the inside cover looks like a minefield of signatures. I’m pretty excited to go through and read what people wrote, but perhaps I’ll save that for a rainy day when I’m feeling lonely in the youth room.

I really don’t know what I’m going to do to keep myself occupied during the summer. Most of my working day was spent in the school doing stuff that youth ministers do. Over the summer, I don’t have the school as an excuse for getting out of filling out paperwork or some other task that I don’t want to do. (Not that I did that very often anyway.)

This evening, I’m planning on making my return to the Thursday night mass group. It’s been about two months since I’ve been back and I miss seeing a lot of people. I guess that’s one good thing about my relaxed schedule. I’m still debating whether I want to go to dinner tonight, because I’m not fond of the particular restaraunt we’re going to, but I have a nice drive back to think about it.

Ok, that’s about it for now. I keeping with my procrastination, I think I’ll post some more stuff later… :-)
