Well, it finally looks like I have my site up and running. So, here’s a recap of the weekend.

Friday was spent lounging around the house and checking out Fr. Gabriel’s new fancy digs. I think that he will be a good fit for the parish.

Saturday morning, Ryan and I got up to head over to help Chelsea move a piano, foosball table and air hockey table into her youth room. Afterwards, we all had a nice lunch, courtesy of the Deucites. Finally, Saturday afternoon, we spent out frisbee golfing. It was my first time and we had a lot of fun. I think that we are going to make this a Saturday tradition. That evening, Megan came over and we watched Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. (I’ve included the video at the bottom of the post.) It was a funny movie, especially because we watched the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version. All I can say is “Lentils and Headbut!”

Today I headed in to work for mass and hanging out with parishoners. This afternoon, I had a TEC meeting at my place and then headed over to help my brother with music at another parish and got to meet the new Fr. Bruce at the parish.

Whew! Busy weekend. Now, it’s time to take some time to rest and say my prayers before bed.
