I found this video over at the Catholic Youth Minister’s lounge. It’s very good and has a lot of amazing quotes about Catholicism in it.
Sling
Well, I’ve found another addicting game. If you are bored at work this week, especially because Halloween is on Tuesday, while away the time by playing Sling and work to save your world from evil space monsters from another dimension. You have to do it by flying to different areas of the screen.
It’s a truly interesting game and very well done!
Haunted House
Well, we started setting up for the haunted house today. We are set to officially open the doors at 4pm on Sunday for Trunk-or-Treat. I’m excited and a bit nervous.
I arrived at work this afternoon around 3:00pm, to a whole bunch of people totally excited to see me and ready to get started putting this dream of mine together. Of course, there were about 20 junior high people helping out, which meant that it was organized chaos, but we managed to get a lot of stuff done.
I’m proud of everyone who helped out and, while many of them probably don’t read this, I’m extremely grateful for the help and for everyone’s talents. I sent one person around today to take pictures and she did an excellent job. Once I get everything fully organized, I’ll post some pictures up. The one you see with this post, however, is a drawing that we were working on, which will be part of a wall. It’s pretty amazing and once it was fully colored, it looked pretty amazing!
Chipotle
So, I’m eating at Chipotle tonight, and my standard burrito is a 13″ wrap filled with rice, black beans, barbacoa, sour cream, cheese, lettuce and corn salsa.

Amendment 2
I’d like to point you to this excellent post by AmercianPapist on the Amendment 2 cloning ban in Missouri. I was pretty surprised to see Michael J. Fox in an ad supporting this amendment. What’s more surprising is that the language of this amendment has been specifically crafted to lead voters to vote in favor of it. Luckily enough, as AmericanPapist points out, there has been an ad shot that will run tonight during the World Series game 4 to help educate people about what the amendment really says.
If you live in Missouri, I recommend you check out this post, on why cloning is wrong and visit the Missourians Against Human Cloning website.
This is on the ballots for November 7 and is a serious problem. The initiative is being funded by some very big money and will force taxes on the people of Missouri to waste millions of dollars on cloning when there are already proven and morally acceptable medical treatments that have been done using adult stem cells. This amendment will increase the rates that we kill embryos in the country substantially.
