At the Plaza

Plaza LightsYesterday, I spent some time with my family and we decided to check out the lights on the Plaza. We also headed down to make a pilgrimage to the Apple store, as it is the only one in the area. While we were down there, we took in the latest Bond movie, which was pretty good. I snapped a few pictures while we were out on the street, but I hope to get more when my other brother and his wife come to town for Christmas.

Finally, to finish out the evening, we had dinner at Jack Stack, possibly the best barbeque joint in KC. If you ever want to taste real BBQ, head over to their website and order yourself some. They will ship all over the US.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Christmas lights

Well, we started putting up Christmas lights around the house today. I also had my camera along for the ride. We decided to take some funny poses, with my Dad acting like Clark Griswald and stapling his arm to the house.

In other news, I’m looking forward to eating a lot of food tomorrow. Happy Thanksgiving!

Basketball season

Seeing how it’s basketball season, I couldn’t resist putting this video of Stomp up. Enjoy!

Chastity speaker

I had the amazing opportunity to hear Jason Evert speak last night. I even had front row seats! He did an awesome job, and it’s always a pleasure to hear him speak. Interested in hearing what he has to say? Check out his website, the Pure Love Club.

Microsoft Zune or Doom?

Found this video today online. It’s footage of CNN covering the new release of Microsoft’s mp3 player, Zune. What’s amazing is how each time a co-anchor asks about a feature, the person presenting says “Well, it doesn’t really do that.” Even more amazing is that Apple shines in the end when the third co-anchor pulls out her new iPod shuffle and says something like “Why would I want to buy that, when I only spent $79 on this?”

Amazing, and because I’m such an Apple fan, it just makes me laugh.
